We are a brand-new church in Fort Worth! Whether you’ve never been to church or haven’t been in years, you belong here.
It can be intimidating to try something new, especially a new church, so we promise to make your first visit as comfortable as possible. We have no other agenda other than wanting you to experience love and joy through Jesus.
We believe that the redemptive power of Jesus is available to every person, no matter his or her story. Our mission is to bring the gospel of Jesus to every person in Southwest Fort Worth. We want to be a part of the next revival in the great state of Texas, and we believe that revival can begin in Fort Worth.
Matt has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and loves the people of Redemption City. He completed his undergraduate degree at Mississippi State University, and he completed his M.Div and D.Min at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary right here in Fort Worth. He is married to Courtney, and his children are Taylor, Cole, and Judah.
Chris has lived out his calling in pastoral ministry since he was 16 years old and loves serving the Redemption City Church family. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University, completed his M.Div from Truett Seminary, and his D.Ed.Min from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Erin, and has three sons, Cade, Connor, and Eliot.
Geoffrey grew up in and around music his whole life. His entire family are worship leaders at different churches across the country. He has been in full time ministry for over 14 years and still loves showing and telling who Jesus is through music and the arts. He completed his BA in Kinesiology and MA in Worship Studies at California Baptist University. Geoffrey is married to Leasha, and they have five children: Londyn, Brody, Cole, Hattie, and Parker.
Courtney has served in kids & student ministry for over 12 years. She completed her undergraduate degree in child development at the University of Arkansas and completed her M. Div. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She loves the mission of Redemption City and is eager to see how the Lord uses our church to reach the lost and hurting. She has a deep love for discipleship and helping people to feel confident to open their bibles and to study it themselves. Courtney loves to spend time with friends and eat TexMex.
Caleb was born in Orange County, California and has served in worship ministries across the globe for the past 8 years. He has a passion for connecting the Bible to musical excellence in worship and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Worship Leadership at Southwestern Seminary. He began leading worship at a small international church in Frankfurt, Germany and has also worked as a worship intern at his home church in Irvine, California. Outside of ministry, Caleb loves spending time with his fiancée Hannah and teaching music lessons.
Toby grew up in Allen, TX, and has served in ministry for three years across DFW. Toby loves to help young people grow in their relationship with Jesus and equip them to make disciples themselves. He is currently pursuing a BA in Christian Studies at Texas Baptist College. Outside of ministry, Toby loves being with friends and enjoying all aspects of Atlanta sports.
Kaitlyn has been serving in church through Digital Media for 6 years. She admires the heart Redemption City Church has for discipleship and leveraging digital media like social media, testimony videos and more to share the Gospel.
Kaitlyn loves spending time with her husband, Dakota, and her 3 sons, Obi, Ian and Eli.
There is one and only one living, true God. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections.
Jesus is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Through His death, burial and resurrection, He redeemed man from sin.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He enables men to understand truth.
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction and is without error.
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
God, in His own time and own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth. The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior. It is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s supper.
A symbolic act of obedience whereby baptized believers, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
We are an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel. We operate under the Lordship of Christ through democratic processes. Redemption City Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
